- Geological Details
- The showing is located 0.5 mile (0.8 km) southeast of the south end of Barnett Lake and on the north shore of a small unnamed lake.
P. Money mapped the north shore of the showing lake as being underlain by unit 4a or metasedimentary garnetiferous biotite migmatite which is made up of >30% granitic rocks. The migmatites have, locally, been intruded by small bodies of pegmatite. Delaney and Purser re-mapped the biotitic metasediments as unit Ps pr pelites.
The showing consists of gummite stain in outcrops of pegmatitic granite, giving counts of 500 to 2000 cps.
