Geological Details
The showing, which is slightly north of the midpoint of the north shore of Trail Lake (a small lake found 0.48 km (0.3 mile) east of the east shore of Lee Lake). The showing, which is located 5.1 km (3.2 miles) northeast of the Anglo Rouyn minesite (SMDI 0732), consists of three trenches that expose sulphide and associated gold mineralization hosted within the northeastern extension of the Anglo Rouyn Mine horizon. The host Anglo Rouyn Mine horizon consists of a northeasterly-trending, north-dipping belt of Archean metasediments and metavolcanics that range in composition from meta-arkoses to meta-greywackes and from massive to porphyritic basalts and andesites. The contact between the sheared Jepsen Lake granodiorite plug and the above-described sequence of rocks forms the hanging wall of this mineralized sequence. The mineralization present consists of disseminations, blebs and stringers of pyrite, pyrrhotite, magnetite, chalcopyrite, minor malachite and arsenopyrite, and rare chalcocite, molybdenite and associated non-visible gold. Grab and chip samples from the trenches returned the following values: SAMPLE TRENCH SAMPLE SAMPLE PPB OZ./TON GEOLOGICAL NUMBER NUMBER TYPE WIDTH AU AU NOTES _____________________________________________________________________________ LY80-4033 1 grab ----- >1000 0.084 greywacke: 1% ml,tr cp,1% py LY80-4089 1 chip 0.3 m >1000 0.073 greywacke: py,cp,ml,cc,mo LY80-4034 2 grab ----- >500 0.053 greywacke: 1% ml,tr cp,py LY80-4085 2 chip 1.0 m >1000 0.038 greywacke: py,cp,ml,cc LY80-4086 2 chip 0.75m >1000 0.035 greywacke: py,cp LY80-4035 3 grab ----- >500 0.022 greywacke: 3% py,tr cp,ml LY80-4036 3 grab ----- >500 0.055 greywacke: 3% py,2% cp,ml LY80-4087 3 chip 0.5 m 430 ----- greywacke: 2% py,3% cp LY80-4088 3 chip 0.5 m >1000 0.063 greywacke: 2% py,3% cp LY90-6004 - grab ----- >1000 0.036 north of Trail Lake (1989) LY90-6006 - grab ----- >1000 0.098 north of Trail Lake (1989) LY90-7004 - grab ----- >1000 0.028 north of Trail Lake (1989)

Exploration History
2/18/1992 Between 1952 and 1953, Anglo Rouyn Mines completed geological mapping and a 50 hole reconnaissance drill program along the mineralized Anglo Rouyn horizon. The KROY group of claims were staked to the west of the showing by E. Partridge in 1955 and later transferred to Jahala Lake Uranium Mines Limited. A ground electromagnetic survey and 6 drill holes (3 totalling 2026 ft (617.5 m)) were reported in 1956.Between 1957 and 1958, Rio Tinto Canadian Exploration Limited flew an airborne EM and magnetic survey that covered the showing area. In 1962 the KROY claims were restaked as part of the LEE group by Anglo-Rouyn. Four holes were drilled near Little and Crescent Lakes (west of the showing) and trenching was completed in 1964. Between 1964 and 1965, Rio Tinto completed geological mapping, and soil sampling in the general area. Rio Tinto blasted a series of trenches in the Dam-Crescent Lakes area. Between 1968 and 1970, La Ronge Mining Limited completed a ground magnetic survey and drilled 8 holes west of the showing. On 28 October 1982, Durama Exterprises Limited staked the showing area as CBS 1662. In 1985, Durama optioned the claim block to SMDC. SMDC completed a program of geological mapping, prospecting, rock and geochemical sampling, and EM and magnetic surveys over areas with INPUT anomalies between Lee and Dam Lakes (AF 73P07-0190). In 1984, Minserv Limited completed a ground magnetic survey over the B grid on CBS 1662 that covered the immediate showing area (AF 73P07-0226). Between 1982 and 1985, Bradner Resources Limited completed ground VLF-EM, magnetic, and IP surveys and soil sampling slightly west of the showing. In 1987, Noranda Exploration completed geological mapping, prospecting, rock and humus sampling, and drilled 2 holes (183 m) in the area covered by Bradner Resources. Noranda dropped the option. In 1988, Cameco optioned the property from Durama. Cameco completed geological mapping, prospecting, rock, bulk till, and trench sampling over grid 88-3 (AF 73P07-0259). Resampling of existing trenches resulted in the gold values that comprise this showing. In 1989, Durama Enterprises Limited completed a program of stripping and limited geological mapping and sampling. In the same year, Cameco completed grid prospecting and rock and soil sampling north of the north shore of Trail Lake between Trail and Dam Lakes (AF 73P07-0285). The three best assay returns are reported above. On 10 February 2006, S. McKenzie staked the showing area as S-106391 for Consolidated Pine Channel Gold Corporation. Between 2000 and 2001, Pine Channel completed beep mat, HLEM, and magnetic surveys and limited rock grab sampling (AF 73P07-SW-0352).
