Nutrien has announced plans to increase its potash production capacity to 18 Mt—an increase of more than 5 Mt—by 2025 in response to supply uncertainties from Eastern Europe. To improve efficiency, productivity and safety, Nutrien aims to automate40 to 50% of its potash ore extraction by 2026.
