- The showing is described as a pegmatite dyke swarm (80 to 150 m wide)trending northeast with an exposed strike length exceeding 275 m. Host rocks include pegmatite and pegmatitic granite (and syenite) and psammopelitic and semipelitic gneisses. The U +\- Th, HREE+Y+Sc mineralization is developed along alteration selvages and with quartz-pyroxene veins in shear structures. Fine- to medium-grained magnetite in the hosts was found to have a strong correlation with mineralization. Anomalous values were present in chip channel samples, outcrop grab, and boulder grab samples in the area. Continuous chip channel samples were taken across 9 m of a pegmatite "stock" (6304568 N, 474241 E) which averaged 360 ppm U. The better sample intervals were: sample BRELR005: 148 ppm U, 0.76% P2O5, 651 ppm THREE+Y (60 ppm Dy, 42 ppm Er, 5 ppm Eu, 42 ppm Gd, 13 ppm Ho, 49 ppm Sc, 10 ppm Tb, 387 ppm Y, 43 ppm Yb)/1.1 m; sample BRELR006: 615 ppm U, 1.09% P2O5, 760 ppm THREE+Y (69 ppm Dy, 48 ppm Er, 5 ppm Eu, 48 ppm Gd, 13 ppm Ho, 84 ppm Sc, 12 ppm Tb, 435 ppm Y, 46 ppm Yb)/1.0 m; sample BRELR007: 615 ppm U, 0.97% P2O5, 657 ppm THREE+Y (57 ppm Dy, 40 ppm Er, 4 ppm Eu, 11 ppm Ho, 96 ppm Sc, 40 ppm Gd, 10 ppm Tb, 359 ppm Y, 40 ppm Yb)/0.5 m; sample BRELR010: 137 ppm U/1.0 m; sample BRELR012: 154 ppm U/0.78 m; and sample BRELR013: 1390 ppm U, 196 ppm Th/0.52 m.
